OF beginner-where to start on simple air flow simulation

Hi, a beginner using OpenFOAM would like to know an appropriate example to start with for learning how to solve for the Temperature, pressure, density of air in a set of rooms initially filled with air at STP and fed air from an input source with an exhaust port simulating a typical HVAC system. Would then like to introduce a heated cylinder (37C) into the room and solve again. Our team has run several of the simulations but so far none seem appropriate for this simple problem. Since we later plan to have the cylinder emit a ‘cloud’ of droplets, we have to consider which solvers will be the most useful as we get to that stage.

Not asking anyone to solve the problem, just some ideas of where to most effectively start.

try google with HVAC openfoam

As I said...

I had done that, but the references left more questions than they resolved. What is ‘BIM’, for instance. Just looking for simple guidance to something in open foam that would be a good starting point.
