Hello,


Just as in fluent, one can control a transient simulation by limiting the number of iterations per time step (typically between 10 to 30 iterations/time step), independently if the convergence criteria is met or not.



I was wondering if something similar can be done in OpenFoam by modifying the fvSolution file or something. Any suggestion would be much appreciated,

You can set the minimum and maximum iteration steps via the keywords minIter and maxIter in the fvSolution.
