I want to do the simulation of natural convection with lagrangian particles driven by buoyancy. What is the best OpenFoam solver for this?

One of the lagrangian solvers should be what you're looking for. The name of the solver will change de pending on the OpenFOAM version (in -dev it's buoyantReactingParticleFoam), but it will include all of the functionality you're interested in.

Do you mean reactingParcelFoam in version 8 and 2006? |

I was looking at the dev branch, specifically (https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...ngParticleFoam). In OpenFOAM-8 it would appear to be reactingParcelFoam, yes.
