LES from RANS-result

Hello,

I would like to start LES from a RANS-result.

But problem is, I would like to change some boundary conditions in U and P.

My U and P of RANS-result are already over 500MB and it is hard to open it...

How can I change boundary conditions?

Some command line text editors like vim and nano work well even for heavy files.

Another option would be to create fresh files with your desired boundary conditions and then use mapFields to bring the results to the "new mesh" (even though it's the same one).

If vi or nano is not sufficient, and if the changes are minimal, you can use the linux sed command to substitute out text. Or indeed, use foamDictionary to change the keywords.
