twoPhaseEulerFoam flowRateInletVelocity relationship with alpha

Dear Foamers,

I am simulating a two phase jet in water, the inlet injects both air and water with alpha.air=alpha.water=0.5.

Both the water and air volumetric flow rates at the inlet are 5e-5 m3/s in the literature, I want to know do I need to specify the flow rate to be 5e-5 or 1e-4 when I use flowRateInletVelocity boundary at the inlet? Since I found that this boundary condition don't consider alpha value, it calculates the velocity by v=Q/A, which assumes the whole area is occupied by one phase. So I think I should set the flow rate=5e-5/alpha= 1e-4 to give the correct velocity, is that right?

Hope I explained clearly, thanks in advance!
