Hi,
Has anyone encountered issues with incorrect cell types in overset analysis of openfoam. I tried 18.12, 19.12 and 20.12. All these versions showed cells that correspond to 'background' as 'hole'. I checked visually that zone IDs are correct for background and overset region. What could be the reason? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi,Barry
Have you solved it now? I'm having the same problem. The celltypes are automatically detected in a weird way though the zoneID are set correctly. |

Use cellVolumeWeight for oversetInterpolation. This identified cell types correctly. But my case failed to run overPotentialFoam and overSimpleFoam.
