ScalarTransportFoam for RTD calculations for laminar non-Newtonian flow

Hello foamers,

I am interested in getting residence time distribution for a relatively easy case: a 20m long pipe with 12.5mm diameter, modelled as axisymmetric wedge. I am following the method described here: https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...tml#post228210

i.e. running simpleFoam to get steady state velocity field (The transport model is powerLaw.) and then use it for RTD with scalarTransportFoam. However, whatever the values of DT (tried from 0.01 to 1e6), the plot of T shows only one value.

Any ideas on what could be wrong, especially since scalarTransportFoam is one of the most basic solvers in openFOAM? I can provide the case if it helps!

Thanks,
