Good morning everybody,
I am trying to run coalChemistryFoam tutorial simplifiedSiwek in order to check this voidFraction cloudFunction. I have included this in both coal and limestone clouds but no field is written. Code:
cloudFunctions { f1 { type voidFraction; } } By the way, does this only write the void field or is being the alpha fraction being included in carrier phase equations?? Thanks! |

You need to use a cloud type that is derived from KinematicCloud for this cloud function to work.
It normally writes the volume fraction of the lagrangian phase. |

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make this function work, i.e. if it's writing the phase volume fraction. Would be very helpful if you have found the solution and intimate us how. Thanks in advance, Sourav |

Okay, the output naming is not self-explanatory, rather it's something bit obfuscated called kinematicCloudTheta – which can be found in each time directory, after the simulation is over.
