buoyantKEpsilon in Natural Convection Problems

Dear colleagues, good afternoon.

I am working with the study of free Natural Convection in flat plates and using the buoyantKEpsilon turbulence model with the buoyantSimpleFoam solver. However, I am facing several simulation problems and one of them is that the temperature field is not developing.

Does anyone have experience with this type of problem and could share / collaborate? The case follows:

Thank you all for the attention.

Hi,

Is there any validation case from the literature that you can suggest for similar type of physics? Maybe we can try to reproduce a validation case to understand if the solver+model have some problems?

I am using the article "Fluid flow and heat transfer of natural convection adjacent to upwardfacing, rectangular plates of arbitrary aspect ratios" as a validation reference.
