aligs2920 is on a distinguished road
I have a model which looks very much like a basic flow around a cylinder problem. But my cylinder is solid so I am modelling conjugate heat transfer.
As per the title, does anyone know how to enable volumetric heat generation inside the solid so that the heat travels through the solid to the surface and washed away using a fluid.

I have done the basic flow over the cylinder tutorials and CHT tutorials and have validated them. But I am not sure how to generate heat inside a solid.

I am very new to openfoam and trying to do this before moving onto CHT with complex geometries.
