alfiogn is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I'm working with the immersed boundary implementation in foam-extend-4.0.

I'm dealing with a quite simple problem. Two concentric cylinders, the inner one is rotating with a certain angular velocity.
Dirichlet values are imposed for velocity and Neumann for pressure, on both cylinders.

By the fact that I have zero gradient for pressure on all the boudnary patches, pRefCell and pRefValue need to be set in fvSolution.

The fact is that when I run the simulation, the imposition of artificial compressibility in pEqn generates a peak o pressure near the chosen pRefCell (that is 0).
This is due to the interpolation made while imposing the zeroGradient condition of IB.

Does anyone ever met this issue?
Do you have some way in which it can be solved?

Thanks,
Giorgio
