How to restart cases with updated model properties

Hi, I have a case that runs to 100 s and reaches steady state. I want to know if I change the thermo properties under folder "constant", how the results can change.

I want to know to do this, can I directly revise the number and run with latestTime? Or should I use some utilities to update the property number? Thank you!

If you do so, you take the last result as the new starting point. It depends whether that is what you wish to calculate.
In principle it means that you have some kind of equilibrium and there change some of the materials.

Thank you for your reply! This is exactly what I want to do. I learned we can not directly edit the boundary conditions so we have to use utilities. But I am not sure whether we can directly edit the material properties and re-run the update.
