Foam FATAL error negative initial temperature

Hi all,

I am very new to openfoam. started recently. I am trying to simulate supersonic cd nozzle flow to compare with my experimental results.

I am getting below error.
"FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Negative initial temperature T0: -7.31735636910005"

I searched this forum, solutions given earlier for this were to check mesh and reduce tolerance of p in fvsolution file by a couple of magnitude.

I have tried them, my mesh is ok(checkmesh) and also reduced tolerance of p, still I am getting this error after running very long.

Is this problem with mesh or something? Please share if you faced similar issues and how you got around it. Any help will be really appreciated.

Thank in advance

update

i used fvOptions files to set minimum and maximum temperature, yet no solution and results in same problem

When do you get this error? Immediately? Then something with your b.c. is wrong.

After a few steps? Than your simulation is instable. Is may help writing results after very short times and look what happens.

thanks for your reply,

i am trying different b.cs for quite somedays. even though the simulation runs for sometime, the iteration number is always zero for every step and also there are no output files at the end (aborted (core is dumped).

only thing i observed is that increasing the lower temperature limit in fvoption file reduces the negative temperature value.

I have attached the error message.

Thanks again
