Running OF with fsi 6dof without mesh deformation
Hi,
I need to run OF with fsi 6dof without mesh deformation, ie the entire grid moves as a whole. Is this possible? I tried to modify the wingMotion tutorial by changing: innerDistance 1e5;//0.3; outerDistance 1.1e5;//1; but the solution diverges after t=0.06. I checked and found that the internal mesh is moving as a whole but not the boundary. So is it possible? the reason for doing this is because i need to simulate a wing with aileron deflection. In the mesh, the aileron deflects thru mesh deformation (displacementLaplacian). Thru FSI, the wing should rotate and the whole mesh should move as a whole. If the mesh deforms, this will reduce the grid quality severely. Thanks. |
