Hi all,
I'm quite new to OpenFOAM and CFD in general, but have successfully been able to solve a scaled-down problem using interPhaseChangeFoam. Now as expected performance is an issue with the full scale model and as I don't have access to an adequate computing infrastructure, I was considering my RTX 3090 GPU as an alternative. I've done a quick GPU vs. CPU comparison using RapidCFD with CUDA and saw a runtime reduction by roughly 70%. While this is a promising result, it appears the interPhaseChangeFoam solver has not been implemented for GPU/CUDA usage in RapidCFD yet. Now unfortunately my expertise is far from being adequate to attempt implementing it myself so my question is: is there currently any way to get interPhaseChangeFoam working with GPU/CUDA out of the box or at least without extensive expert knowledge? Any suggestions very much appreciated! Stefan |
