Dear Foamers,
I would like to use the BC "externalWallHeatFlux" by specifying a non-uniform value for the HF. Apparently this is possible, provided a Function 1 is used, as discussed in this post: Time varying externalWallHeatFlux I did it with the expression syntax for a uniformFixedGradient but I also need to use the "thin wall" model and thus I should better use the externalWallHeatFlux. Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated. BR, Luca EDIT: The Function 1 cannot be used for my purpose. I guess that I have to write a new BC if I want to include a non-uniform HF in the "externalWallHeatFlux" BC of OF v2106. As stated above I am able to define a non-uniform HF by using the expression syntax with "uniformFixedGradient" type BC but I cannot consider a wall thickness. If someone has an idea it is greatly welcome! Luca Last edited by marluc; March 30, 2022 at 10:59. Reason: info added |
