Hello everyone, I hope you may help me cut the Gordian knot!
I am a novice on the use of OpenFOAM for floating body. I have already some knowledge on the model, but this is the first time I use OF for (constrained) floating body and dynamic mesh.

I apologize in advance if my questions are silly. I'd like to ask:

1) Which is the difference between sixDoFRigidBodyMotion and rigidBodyMotion solvers?

2) Could you give me some theoretical hints and references on how the equations of body motion are implanted in OF? The API guide is quite thin on these theoretical aspects.

Thanks a lot for any possible answer!
