Hello to all,
I am new to OpenFOAM and I have been doing some tutorials with interFoam and compressibleInterFoam. Why are the viscosity models in the incompressible solver [interFoam] not available in the compressible solver [compressibleInterFOam]? It doesn't make sense to have a viscosity model have a dependency on the shear-rate if the formulation is compressible? |

Hi,
Sorry if this is too basic, but I would like to understand. Is there a reason for this? I have seen in the source code, and the transport models only depend on pressure and temperature. Why was the shear-rate left out? |
