Hello!
I am trying to simulate a subsonic diffuser in a supersonic flow. But inside the diffuser, the gas is accelerated and a supersonic flow occurs. It shouldn't be. I tried putting the cylindrical section in front of the expanding section, but that didn't work. I also tried to make just an expanding channel, but the gas is not slowed down in it either. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. After all, the gas passes through a direct shock wave and becomes subsonic. And it must slow down in the expanding channel. I am creating a mesh in the form of a wedge. Mach number = 2.1. Temperature = 150K. Pressure = 5333 Pascals. kOmegaSST turbulence model. The rhoPimpleFoam solver. Can't attach .zip with code due to size. I don't know what part of it should be duplicated. I will be very grateful for your answers. |
