How to make a simple Mixing plane in OpenFOAM plus

1 Attachment(s)
Dear Foam experts,

I need to simulate a fan system. Geometry is not complicated, there is a axial fan in a channel, and a stator behind. This is illustrated in att.

Because I only need to simulate steady state, so I can only use the MRF in the rotor stage. But due to the stator behind, I need to use a mixing plane after rotor and before the stator. Now, the issue is I see there is no mixing plane in OpenFOAM plus version.

I know foam-ext has a mixing plane, but due to my most work is done in OpenFOAM plus, I cannot really move to use foam-ext unfortunately. I checked foam-ext code, mixing plane is much more complicated than my expected. There is also a mixingPlaneLduInterface.H in the code to somehow direct manipulate the matrix. I don't really understand it all in short time.

Because my geometry is quite simple, it is not aero-engine compressor which complicate AMI, transform needed. I can simulate the full fan geometry. So I wonder if it is possible to make a very simple mixing plane model in OpenFOAM plus. For example, could I use the Fan Cpt Jump boundary condition as reference, where I use master side to get flow from MRF stage, then calculate the mixing and put it into stator stage?

Thanks very much for the help.

Anyone could give me some suggestions? Thanks.
