Hello,
I got 12 CPU cores with hyperthreading (24c). Howerever I cannot get to 100% CPU usage as I get errors if I put numberOfSubdomains to 24. Can sb help me out? I tried different decomposition methods, but no luck. Apart from this, here it says hyperthreading doesn't bring a benifit anyways (OpenFOAM + Hyperthreading) Is there a way to prevent hyperthreading using openfoam? decomposeParDict: Code:
numberOfSubdomains 12; method hierarchical; // method ptscotch; coeffs { n (6 2 1); } |

Follow up: Is there a way to auto detect/set the number of cores?
