AMR with Overset?

Has anyone successfully applied adaptive mesh refinement to an overset mesh? Both use the dynamicMeshDict, but I'm curious if its possible to have multiple dynamicFvMesh inputs.

I found just one example of using overset mesh with AMR, and that's the 'Disk Water Entry' simulation by Nicolás Diego Badano. You can find it here: https://github.com/nicolasbadano/DiskEntry. Refer to the “tank15-t153-M5-AMR” case.
