Dear Foamers,
I am wondering someone can give me some advice on an issue I am seeing with interFoam. I have a flow channel with one inlet, one outlet, and walls. the flow field is initially filled with water. When calculation starts, I start inserting air into the inlet, something like this: (0 1) (0.001 0) (0.002 0) (0.003 1) (0.1 1) (0.101 0) (0.102 0) (0.103 1) (1 1) During the time steps when alpha.water transition from 1 to 0, delta t decreases almost by order of 10. Same occus when alpha.water transition from 0 to 1. Is there a way to address this type of issue? Pei-Ying |
