very fine Mesh + interFoam (VOF) + dynamicMesh (rotatingMotion)

Hi everyone,

When i use a very fine Mesh + interFoam (VOF) + dynamicMesh (rotatingMotion), i have a strange behaviour near the walls (in the rotating zone). Indeed, on the first layers near the wall, i have alpha not equal to 1 (when it should be)... And so the force on the walls is not good.

I tested lot of things (very low CFL, different schemes and numerical parameters) but without success.

With a coarser mesh, there is no problem... and with no rotating too

Do you have an explanation and a trick to avoid that ?

Thanks a lot

Cyrille

Mass imbalance in these cells is not satisfied so it can act as source or sink for volume fraction.

The aspect ratio is not very good so it can cause it.
