Hi foamers,
As the title suggests, I would like to transition from a low pressure at the inlet to a higher pressure at the outlet. However, this doesn't appear to be straightforward, and the velocity becomes negative (my problem is 1D). The reverse process (high pressure to low pressure) works perfectly. Applying the 'inletOutlet' boundary condition for velocity, in order to ensure that the inlet always remains as the inlet (U_x (inletValue) != 0 and U_x (value) = 0) and the outlet always remains as the outlet (U_x (value) != 0 and U_x (inletValue) = 0), does not provide a solution. Do you have any suggestions? Last edited by mkhm; September 7, 2023 at 16:09. Reason: typo |
