Hi all,
I am trying to do a heat transfer between 2 different solids. One of which has anisotropic behavior. I have read a few threads -directionalKSolidThermo syntax. I believe we can add the thermal conductivities of the Anisotropic material in different directions to the thermophysical properties file of that material. Please advise a direction to begin with. Any leads would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello,
There might be different options depending on the OpenFOAM development branch. From what I remember: In the OpenCFD branch (openfoam.com) since OpenFOAM-v2206: New tabulated anisotropic thermal conductivity solid transport In the OpenFOAM foundation branch (openfoam.org) since OpenFOAM-11: Quote:
I don't know if this matches your needs, but it's probably worth checking. I hope this helps, Yann |
