Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a chtMultiRegionFoam case, but I have been encountering errors. To diagnose the issue, I tested my case with a different mesh, and it did not crash. This leads me to believe that the problem is related to the mesh itself. When I run the command:checkMesh -allTopology -allGeometry I receive the following output: Overall domain bounding box (-0.88666778 -0.965 -7.4610644) (11.448332 5.035 5.2989356) Mesh has 3 geometric (non-empty/wedge) directions (1 1 1) Mesh has 3 solution (non-empty) directions (1 1 1) Boundary openness (3.1762438e-16 -3.4303587e-16 -6.7638209e-17) OK. End I created both meshes using Salome, but the larger mesh seems to be causing the issue. My question is: Should I adjust any settings in Salome other than just changing the mesh size? Is it possible to fix these issues using OpenFOAM utilities instead of modifying the mesh in Salome? Thank you for your help in advance! 😊 |
