Dear all,
I am trying to run a simple multi-region case in parallel. The case has conduction/convection/radiation. It runs ok in serial. I am on OpenFOAM 23.12. When I run in parallel, I get the following error: HTML Code:
The number of faces on either side of the coupled patch 0 are not the same I am attaching the case if someone wants to take a look. Cheers |

I think the problem comes from the fact that the domain decomposition is not able to preserve the face zones. If I use less processors, it works fine.
Now it seems to me that the routine domainDecomposition should at least complain if it's not able to comply with the constraints imposed, but it doesn't. |

Does anyone have an idea how to force the decomposition to comply with the interfaces constraint? I have a multi-region case with 30 millions of cells and I can't even distribute it in 8 processors.
Seems kind of a harsh limitation. |
