Dear Foamers,
I want to learn/prepare a workflow for non-conformal mesh in OF. As a test case, I chose a 2D pipe (horizontal box) geometry. I created three meshes: meshA, meshB, and meshC, where one box ends and the next begins.
I uploaded the case files. You can run run.sh to reproduce my steps. I feel like I am missing something very trivial, but I’m stuck nonetheless. Could you please help me or at least nudge me in the right direction? Cheers, Umut Note: I dont think chtMultiRegion cases can be a good example, as I am only looking for a simple non-conformal workflow.

Soon after I asked the question, I found the solution. As I suspected it was very trivial, yet it cost me a day to find it.. ups. I'm sharing the solution hoping that no one needs it yet can find it here still.
Solution: Instead of using createPatchDict, I used changeDictionaryDict ![]() U field:
