Dear All,
I'm trying to write a post processing tool to characterize the boundary layer. I created a cutting plane, where I would like to define lines for integration. How can I extract data from a 3D mesh over a line. Thanks, Lilla |

Hi Lilla,
maybe I did not got the full complexity of your problem. If the first step is extracting data along a line, this is easy: Use the sample tool. Read the doc/UserGuide.pdf Chapter 6.5 'Sampling data'. Daniel |

Hello Daniel
My problem, that I need to reach inside my code the data on the line. If I use the sampling utility, i will have them in distinct files. However, I try to find back, how the sampling utility extract the data, so thanks for the idea. Lilla |

Dear All,
I defined a cellSet and I would like to know, if I can use the volumeIntegrate just on this set of cells. Thanks, Lilla |
