Hi foamers, and Happy New Year!
I need to evaluate the transport of a random variable in a flowfield as postprocessing, in order to code an aeroacoustic sthocastic noise tool. I'm now using scalarTransportFoam, with D = 0. At the inlet I set a random value for each face, with a new BC based on turbulentInlet. Now, if I use limitedLinear for convection, my random field is dissipated in a small distance from the inlet. I tryed also with cubic, but there are oscilations. What could be a good low dissipative scheme for this case? Thank you! |
