i am using OF1.4,I want to input my inlet velocity,it is not a constant. when i type: setParabolicInlet /home/user/ivann/OpenFOAM/ivan-1.4/run/tutorials/rhoTurbFoam building inlet 0.01 then it show setParabolicInlet: symbol lookup error: setParabolicInlet: undefined symbol: _ZTIN4Foam19lduCoupledInterfaceE what is wrong with it? |

Is this the first application you compiled for OpenFOAM?
Because basically it is looking for a symbol that should be in the libOpenFOAM.so. which should be be loaded by default. This seems to be more a system/compilation-problem than a problem specific to that application. Could you give us some more info about your system and how you compiled that app? |

Wich version of setParabolicInlet are you using (because there are several floating around on the board - None of them with Make/options, Make/files - where did you get those from?). My guess is thatyour application wasn't linked to libOpenFOAM.so and therefor it can't find that symbol when running Bernhard |
