Hi,
I have been running a number of OpenFoam tutorials on a 64 bit OpenSuse 10.2 system with a Dual Intel Core 2 processor system. Everything works fine, but is there anyway to check that I'm actually running openFoam in 64 bit mode. I have set the $WM_64 flag, but is there another way of confirming that setting?
Regards
Jens

Try the file command:

bin/linux64GccDPOpt> file lesScalarFoam
lesScalarFoam: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.6.4, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.4, not stripped
