Hi all,
It seems that many tutorials are missing when using FoamX interface. However, i can run them using the command line. If i add them by hand unsing the GUI, i cannot open the case: the message is :application name invalid. The controDict file in .OpenFoam-1.4.1 does not contain all the tutorials names from the source pkg. How can i get these missing tutorials to work from the GUI? Thanks -Alain |

I checked with 1.3 and i get the same problem e.g. , the class application name is invalid. I even tried cloning and creating new cases wih application names which are valid in the application directory, but whitout any luck. How do i get a valid application class in FoamX GUI?
thanks -Alain |

To run the tutorial with rhoSonicFoam you first need to run blockMesh. After that you are able to run the solver (rhoSonicFoam).

rhopSonicFoam and a few other tutorials are missing in 1.4.1 when using FoamX.
rhoSonicFoam is OK. Thanks, -Alain |
