Hello everyone,

I want to apply calculated values onto the gradient of p at a boundary patch. There are new values in every time step and they are non-uniform.

Apllying some values to p is quite simple, but how to specify values for the gradient at the boundary of a field?

Does anyone have a suggestion? Any help appreciated!

Many Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas!

If you need it at every time-step, you propably will have to program a boundary condition.

Have a look at $FOAM_SRC/finiteVolume/fields/fvPatchFields/derived/fixedFluxPressure (that boundary condition sets a pressure gradient, so it might give you an idea how to do it)
