hi.

I am considering a problem where I want to have a quantity distributed on a separate internal scale (say w from 0 to 1), and this quantity has values similar to a volscalar field, that is, distributed over the range of w at each (x,y,z) location. In effect scalar(w,x,y,z).

Is there an example anyone could point me to where such a concept is implemented?

thanks!

hi,

Your query sounds like a VOF problem.
Did you have a look at the Dambreak tutorial (U-55)?
