anyone knows what the fixedNormalSlip b.c. does?
I am unable to understand it from the source code...

I am searching for a way to prescribe a tangential shear stress at a surface, and thought maybe this could be something similar.

Thanks for any hint!

still trying to understand these transformations, e.g. in the basicSymmetry b.c...

transform(I-sqr(nHat),internalField)

some hints what that does?

and, generally, is there a difference between simply multiplying a tensor T and a vector v like T dot v, and calling transform(T,v) ?

that would be a great help if I could understand that...

(I-2n*n) dot phi is a mirroring transformation, with respect to plane given by n

transform(T,v) is equivalent to T dot v, but can take different types, correct?

... taking into account the fact that the transformation is different, depending on the type tat is being transformed, e.g. a tensor, a symmetric tensor, a scalar etc.
