Hi-

I'm trying to run a simple potential flow scenario around a 2D airfoil. I have generated my own grid, and am currently trying to set up my boundary conditions. However, I'm new to OpenFOAM and don't understand all the options for BC. I'm getting an error that says:
request for volScalarField psi from objectRegistry region0 failed available objects of type volScalarField are

(

div(phi)
1|A(U)
)

Any direction would be helpful.

Thanks.

Alright. I got that problem fixed with the help of FoamX. Now I have a new question: How do I map two faces together to form an internal boundary? I have two different grids that mate, and need to be able to specify that they connect.

Thanks.

Have a look at the stitchMesh application - sounds just like what you need.

Hi,

I'm new to OF as well and am trying out some tutorials.
I'm getting the same error with the t-junction, pimpleFoam tutorial.. Can you let me know how you sorted it out? Any input will be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Vasu
