I am wondering if there is any Musig (Multi-Size Group) code that is available in OpenFoam. I was told that CFX has something on that which brings population balance into the multiphase flow model.
I am still a new learner on OpenFoam so I do need alot of guidance. Help appreciated with thanks |

Hi,
I am new to OpenFoam as well, but I don't think it has any in-built population blance capability. I have extensive population blance modelling experience with CFX and you don't want MUSIG in OpenFoam. A more generic implementation of a classes or moments method in OpenFoam would be better. If I ever get the time to learn OpenFoam I might add these techniques. |
