Hi,

I have a question about the BC's for the outlet of a straight pipe. Everywhere the OF tutorials (most of them), zeroGradient is used for both temperature and velocity at the outllet. By that, the code is assuming the flow is fully developed, right? So, what if I want to simulate a short pipe? Which BC's should I use for the outlet?

I'm asking that beacuse I was comparing the results from OF and CFX (using a short pipe), and they were very different. Then I reduced the diameter and the results are now very similar. I don't know which conditions CFX uses for the outlet, but I think that was the problem with my simulation.
