Hi!

Me again!
If I choose an other divergence scheme than upwind for div(phi,U) the flow goes the wrong way in the boundary layer of the airfoil. And this doesn't converge, of course.

I'm using the LRR turbulence model. The y+ is something around 1. I tried with an finer and coarser mesh. This did'nt change the problem.

Thanks
Andreas

Not sure you can run LRR with y+ = 1
Its a high Re model.

You need a low-Re model. Search the board for which ones are good.

Hi,

yes, I know that, but I tried to compare with an CFX solution and there it worked with the same model and mesh. So I thought, it'll work with OpenFOAM, too.
But I think the formulation of the LRR models are not equal in both tools. CFX uses other model constants. But I found no written formulation in the help.
