Hello,

When running an utility from the command line, it usually takes the form:
utility <root> <case>

Is it possible to add an option specifying the time step desired ?

Example: I am running a case, and I want to see some results in paraview without stopping the case (I cannot change the controlDict),
or
I want to add a specific field for post-processing at a given timpe step.

Thanks everybody !

Most utilities that can operate on individual times have the following options:

-time <time>
-latestTime

Should cover all your post-processing needs.

In general to see the options available for a utility, just type the command without any arguments. The error message should give you all the available options.
