Could it be possible to do LES on a prototype geometry

Default I have a tank with dimensions

I have a tank with dimensions of 20m long, 5m wide and 3m deep.
Is it possible to do a LES simulation on it? I know it would be extremely expensive and will take a very very long time. I have access to supercomputer resource. But still I have no idea wether this would be crazy.

I know many of you have experience on LES. Any information will be good.

For test, only water is considered. If it's feasible, some particles will be added into it.

I am interested in the density current.

Considering the dimensions, Reynolds number should be very big.
The inlet velocity is in the order of 0.02m/s. So Re=0.02*20/1E-6=4E+5.

I doubt very much your largest length scale will be 20m in a 20x5x3 tank. Even so, I have done LES (DES actually) of a complete automobiles at 140km/h with OpenFOAM. Thats a Re of ~40*5/1.4e-5 = 14e6.

So go ahead, I don't think you will need a supercomputer though.
