Newtonian fluid SimpleFoam

I have a short question. Can I use the simple solver for Newtonian fluids, if I set the viscosity model in /constant/transportproperties to Newtonian?

Can somebody tell me what is nuTilda?

First question: yes, that's now you do Newtonian fluids.

Second question: are you looking at the SpalartAllmaras model or somewhere else? If so, have a look at the paper and you will find out all: nuTilda is the kinematic turbulent viscosity the models solves for.

No I don't look at the SpalartAllmaras model. I was just wondering if I will need the Field nuTilda if I use Newtonian transportModel.
