Hello,
I try to simulate jet injection in a constant volume chamber with sonicTurbFoam. The geometry include nozzle hole and cylinder. It have 2 boundary condition, inlet at the nozzle and wall at other face. I set inlet condition with constant pressure 2e5 Pa and initial pressure 1e5 Pa, timestep 1e-6 sec. The results seem to be incorrect, velocity magnitude is just only 2 m/s at time 1e-3 sec, and it look like the pressure drive back to the nozzle hole.

How to fixed this problem?

Thank.

Hey!

I think I encountered the same problem. Check

Hope this helps. It is also valid for RANS-models.
