Hi, everybody!
I'm neophyte - new - beginner - as you want - with OF.
I need to consider an incompessible flow within a spiral corrugated pipe (OD=20 mm, ID=18 mm) at RE <= 20000 and make DNS calc. As to memory and time - it's all o'k. So, my questions are:
did someone make a DNS calculation with OF for 'not-box' geometry? I think that 'dnsFoam' is a spectral method, and, as consequence, will require periodic BC - that is not my case. Is it right?
What about LES + fine grid (down to Kolmogorov scale)? And more: what about simplest laminar solver + the same grid?

Thanks in advance,
