MRF in latest 1.5.x
Dear all,
there have been some changes regarding MRF in 1.5.x. I am not really sure aht the latest benefits are. As far as I understand there is no need to have a seperate facezone and cellzone for the MRF anymore? And patchs within the rotating zone are now rotating as far as the are not explicitely set to non-rotating? Maybe Matthis can comment on this? Thanks? BastiL |
Yes, boundary faces inside MRFzones are automatically rotating.
Benefits: - less set-up. Only cellZone needed. - harder to make mistakes in having non-rotating patches inside mrf zones (main reason why it changed) - can have patches with part inside, part outside. |
