Hey guys,
does anybody know how I can apply a mass flow inlet boundary condition? Cheers, Fabian |

Hi,
have a look at the U-boundary-file of the tutorial: rhoPimpleFoam/angledDuct The boundary condition is named flowRateInletVelocity... Marco |

Hello,
Is flowRateInletVelocity restricted to certain solvers? I would like to use it for dieselFoam and reactingFoam. Is the unit kg/sec? Thanks, Rishi |

Hi Rishi,
I don't know if it is restricted, I just tried to use it with simpleFoam. However, its not a mass flow bc but a volume flow bc. So the unit is m^3/s . Cheers, Fabian |
