timedependent bc for rhoTurbFoam
 

hello,
i am facing problems by trying to implement the timeVaryingUniformFixedValue-BC to rhoTurbFoam for an inlet pressure in a transsonic setup.
Since i know the inletvelocity(SoS) and the Massflow, i would like to specify a time dependent pressure for the inlet.


The setup is working if i try the tVUFV-bc for the velocity BUT for the pressure the solver is crashing.

I successfully ran the setup(fixed bc values etc.) within in rhoTurbFoam so i am pretty sure about having "good" boundary conditions on the remaining bc except the inlet.


I found a hint (http://www.idurun.com/?tag=timevaryinguniformfixedvalue) that there are some difficulties within in the solver setup but unfortunately that did not get me back on track.


So my question is… do you know why it isn´t working with the velocity? And how i can reach my goal by starting from the existing tVUFV-bc files??
