Hej,

I got a question regarding the setFields tool. Is it possible to set the pressure depending on the position in z direction, meaning it increases with decreasing z due to gravity and depth in the water? For example when a vessel containing 10 meter deep water is modeled, I want the pressure at the bottom to be 1bar more than at the top of the vessel.

Hi roman

you can try funkysetfield. With it you can set more complex initial field.

I was looking at that already, but i am using 1.6.x, and it says there, that it is only usable for 1.5.

Don't let such technicalities bother you It is already "ported":

(in fact the 1.5-version worked without problems). I only forgot to update the Wiki-page

Hope that these good new make you so enthusiastic that you modify the Wiki-page accordingly (it is quite easy, I assure you). So that others coming after you will know that it works
